In this update from ABI Research, the firm outlines its expectations for the growing RFID market worldwide. ABI forecasts the 2010 market to be $4.6 billion by year-end and growing by more than 16% to $5.3 billion for 2011. Software systems revenue growth is anticipated to grow faster than other segments of the market and "item-level apparel tracking is the biggest area to watch in 2010-2011 and beyond."
