Item Level RFID Initiative Focuses on Supplier Benefits

This RFID Journal article discusses the Item Level RFID initiative and the recent meeting held during NRF in New York City in January 2011.  Recent pilots at apparel retailers yielded reductions in staff time and resources for searching for and receiving product, significant reduction in time required for cycle counts and dramatic improvements in inventory accuracy, which leads to sales growth, increased customer satisfaction and enhanced margins.
