RFID Software Application Leader Recognized for Helping Customers Transform their Supply Chains
DALLAS, TX – May 18, 2010 – Xterprise, a leader in item-level RFID solutions, today announced the company has been named to Supply & Demand Chain Executive’s annual 100 List. Now in its ninth year, the magazine recognizes the supply chain solution providers, consultants and other organizations that have helped customers transform their supply chains to compete in the post-recessionary market.
"With this year's Supply & Demand Chain Executive 100, we highlight a broad range of supply chain solution and service providers that are helping to position their customers for the 'New Normal' economic environment," said Andrew K. Reese, editor of Supply & Demand Chain Executive. "Our goal with this year's '100,' as in the past, is to highlight a broad range of solutions and services targeted at a variety of industries, addressing the needs of companies of varying sizes, and assisting in the transformation of a diverse mix of the functions that make up the supply chain.”
RFID is experiencing a comeback as companies are placing a renewed emphasis on achieving a “lean enterprise.” RFID-enabled systems can help companies get back to basics – focusing on product availability, employee productivity and customer service.
“Today’s business mantra is ‘do more with less’ as organizations simply cannot justify spending dollars on supply chain technology and services for technology sake,” said Jim Caudill, SVP of Marketing and Strategy for Xterprise. “However, it’s not the wiz bang technology companies are after; it’s the matured solutions that can offer the business results and ROI that organizations need to not only compete, but survive. Our RFID solutions help customers drive these much needed efficiencies out of the supply chain and we are honored to be recognized for our efforts.”
